Meeting Report – may 2, 2023
The Cedar Landing 2 – Creek Estates Road Maintenance Organization (RMO) Board of Directors convened at 507 Bishop Drive on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
Cynthia Kunz, President, convened the meeting.
The report of the April 4, 2023 meeting was accepted.
- Member Issues
Members discussed the request made by Roy Wells and Jason Lanier that a wood walkway be installed at the boat launch site on Landing Court. Steve Hanchey has concluded that there is sufficient space within the RMO’s easement to construct such a walkway and has talked to one of the two adjacent property owners. He intends to secure their agreement before construction. [Note: Mr. Lanier subsequently explained that he had contacted a Bishop Court neighbor who owns a business constructing docks and related marine fixtures and who believes that he may have sufficient extra materials for the walkway.]
Members reviewed and approved the letter, deed, and map to be sent to Landing Court owners prior to the installation of boat launch and parking sites.
- Road Maintenance
Members reviewed remaining issues to be addressed this spring, along with quarterly grading:
- Park Drive – ponding at 603 and 605
- Rustic Court – rock
- Cedar Avenue – continue speed bumps replacement
- New speed bump – 502-503 Creek – by summer
Members reviewed issues to be addressed after Hurricane Season:
- Bishop Drive – roadbed stabilization
- Bishop Court – roadbed stabilization
- Cedar Avenue and Pine Ridge Drive – tile replacement
III. Financial Operations
Ann Donnelly reported that the current bank balance is $32,400.
- Other Issues
Members discussed the possibility of inviting Jordan Road residents to join the RMO.

The next meeting will be held on June 6, 2023 at 507 Bishop Drive at 6:00 pm.
