Meeting Report – July 11, 2023
The Cedar Landing 2 – Creek Estates Road Maintenance Organization (RMO) Board of Directors convened at 507 Bishop Drive on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
Cynthia Kunz, President, convened the meeting.
The report of the June 6, 2023 meeting was accepted.
- Road Maintenance
Members reviewed remaining issues to be addressed as soon as possible, along with quarterly grading:
- Park Drive – ponding at 603 and 605
- Rustic Court – rock
- Cedar Avenue – continue speed bumps replacement
- New speed bump – 502-503 Creek
Members reviewed issues to be addressed after Hurricane Season:
- Bishop Drive – roadbed stabilization
- Bishop Court – roadbed stabilization
- Cedar Avenue and Pine Ridge Drive – tile replacement
- Financial Operations
The current bank balance is $34,867.00.
- Other Issues
- Boat launch site
- Signage
- 1 negative response received to letter to Landing Court owners
- Proposed response reviewed/will be sent immediately
- Signs will be placed in about 10 days
- Walkway – no update
- Signage
- Ditch at 607-609 Park Drive
- Owner has requested permission to clear the ditch
- Board agrees
- Jeff Conerly updated members on cost/capability of new traffic counters (~$700.00) and members agreed to budget for this
- Quarterly report to owners reviewed/approved
- Road maintenance contract
- After 4 years with Bisping Land Improvements, the contract will be competed
- Jeff Conerly will identify other firms from whom a bid could be requested
- Fall Community Grill
- Members discussed falling numbers of volunteers and attendees and decided to change day/time and add a money raffle
- Grill will be held on Sunday, October 1 (2-4 pm)
- Adjournment and Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 507 Bishop Drive at 6:00 pm.
