Meeting Report – June 6, 2023
The Cedar Landing 2 – Creek Estates Road Maintenance Organization (RMO) Board of Directors convened at 507 Bishop Drive on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
Cynthia Kunz, President, convened the meeting.
The report of the May 2, 2023 meeting was accepted.
- Introductions – Ryan Bisping
Ryan Bisping, Bisping Land Improvements, was welcomed and introduced to the board members who had not previously met him. Members and Mr. Bisping discussed the RMO’s approach to maintaining the roads, current priorities, and the status and workability of the current contractual arrangement. Both parties agreed that when the quarterly grading and patching were done, a load of crushed concrete would also be delivered to sites needing its application.
- Road Maintenance
Members reviewed remaining issues to be addressed this spring, along with quarterly grading:
- Park Drive – ponding at 603 and 605
- Rustic Court – rock
- Cedar Avenue – continue speed bumps replacement
- New speed bump – 502-503 Creek
Members reviewed issues to be addressed after Hurricane Season:
- Bishop Drive – roadbed stabilization
- Bishop Court – roadbed stabilization
- Cedar Avenue and Pine Ridge Drive – tile replacement
- Financial Operations
Financial report was not available.
- Other Issues
- Members discussed the possibility of a wooden walkway at the boat launch site – Greg Fogle, Rob Schneider, and Steve Hanchey will place and install the signs after the Landing Court owners have had a chance to reply to the announcement letter
- Jeff Connerly alerted members that a new traffic counter and software may need to be acquired in the near future; estimated cost ~$700.00
- Adjournment and Next Meeting
Members discussed the July meeting, which would fall on the Fourth holiday, and agreed to move the meeting to the following Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at 507 Bishop Drive at 6:00 pm.
