Meeting Report
June 4, 2024
The Cedar Landing 2 – Creek Estates Road Maintenance Organization (RMO) Board of Directors convened at 507 Bishop Drive on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 6:00 pm. Cynthia Kunz, President, convened the meeting. The report of the April 2024 meeting was accepted.
- Road Maintenance
Members expressed appreciation for the pothole filling work done the previous week and reviewed currently approved projects:
- Park and Bishop Drives – raise roads and restore drainage
- Bishop Court – stabilize roadbed
- Donna’s Drive – rock to relieve ponding and stabilize roadbed
- Continued pothole filing – asphalt and gravel
- Cedar Avenue – continue speed bumps replacement
- Cedar Avenue and Pine Ridge Drive – tile replacement
- Creek Court potholes
- Financial Operations
The current bank balance is $39,469.00. To date, 51% of owners have paid their 2024 road assessment.
Motion Made and Seconded: To authorize a third signatory for the RMO checking account: Sue Conerly. [Motion Passed]
- Other Issues
- Boat launch site – Any issues with access or parking, contact Cecil Cameron (919-356-2269 or 919-770-1219)
- Wood walkway at boat launch site – no update
- Landscaping around Creek Estates sign – thanks to John and Dana Brooks
- Website transition – Looking for a path forward
- Consider adding wheels to the marquee sign to ease movement
- Adjournment and Next Meeting
The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at 507 Bishop Drive at 6:00 pm. [The Board will meet every other month through December.]
